As we take stock of 2017 and make our plans for 2018, I thought it might be good for us to share our thinking with the interested.
The past year of 2017 has been both an instructive and rewarding one for Infolytx.
Instructive in that we learned the importance of:
- Consistency – In our adherence to process methodology
- Reiteration – of our instructions and methods to both the old and the new
- Reinforcement – both direct and indirect of our goals
Rewarding in that we started to see the fruits of our labor:
- Enterprise level work done successfully leading to a strategic partnership with the client.
- Mastery of brand new technology in the cognitive agent arena with two leading engines.
- Expertise in Deep Learning that manifested itself in IP that is sought by others.
This brings us to 2018 and how we see the firm evolving this year.
Having attained HIPAA compliance, our focus on healthcare remains strong – however, as a startup in IT services, we will engage in non-healthcare work particularly with our enterprise clients in the wellness, attractions, and human resources space. As long as leading-edge technology is involved, our teams will gladly assist companies in their digital transformation efforts.
Internally our challenge is to keep growing without sacrificing the quality of our teammates and the rigor of our methods. However, we are up for this challenge as the key leaders of the company are well aware of the importance of this objective in attaining our goals.
My primary focus this year is to build a sales and revenue engine comparable to our Development Center both in scope and scale. Furthering alliances and partnerships will be key. In 2017, we joined IBM PartnerWorld, and we will pursue more such alliances this year.
In summary, I see a very bright future for Infolytx with 2018 being an important year in our life as we start to leave the nest and learn to fly by ourselves. It won’t be long before we soar the skies…
